STEEL CITY/SKATE CITY 2010 "The Meltdown" - Sat 6 March
Wollongong Illawarra Steel City Derby Dolls vs Newcastle Dockyard Dames
Bout one of three! Wollongong and Newcastle will battle it out on the flat track to decide which city is Queen of roller derby!
Come and support the WIRDos in our first all out bout!
We will be playing Newcastle on their home turf for bout two on the 24th of April with decider being played back at the HUB on the 15th of May!

Doors open 6:30pm / Bouts commence 7:00pm sharp.
All tickets $10 + booking fee (children 10 years and under free with paying adult).
General Admission seating, "first in, best dressed". Arrive early for "suicide" track-side seating, if you dare... Track-side "suicide" seating is over 18's only, and photo ID is required for alcohol purchase. Family seating is available also.

Thank you all for attending WIRD's very successful first public event at the Sports HUB. 
Over 400 people cheered on as the Maidens of Mayhem defeated the Violet Femmes. It was a very close match with the winners taking the trophy by 2 points, earned in heated final jam. 
MC DC and the lovely Ms Heidi Hoops presented the trophy to winners. |
